About the Mark2 X-Cross 520 Hybrid
The X-Cross 520 is the bike most Mark2 customers end up on, and it is easy to see why. The 6061 aluminium frame carries a 250W Promovec rear hub motor with 45Nm of torque - enough to flatten a commute without the drag and weight of a crank-drive system - and Mark2 hand-build each one in Europe before shipping it from their UK warehouse.
Up front you get a Shimano Tiagra 10-speed drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, with 160mm rotors front and rear. The 375Wh power pack lifts out so you can charge it indoors, and takes four to six hours from flat; the 460Wh pack adds roughly 20 per cent more capacity for the same size and weight. Ready to ride at 22.1kg including the battery, with a quoted range of up to 50 miles.
