About the Mark2 X-Cross 450 Step Through
Mark2 took the X-Cross hybrid and rebuilt it around a step-through frame, so getting on and off in a coat, in the dark or with a pannier on board stops being a negotiation. It is the same 6061 aluminium frame and the same 250W Promovec rear hub motor with 45Nm as the rest of the X-Cross range.
The donor bike shows through in the details: a Shimano Tiagra 10-speed drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors. One frame size covers a 28in to 35in inside leg, the 375Wh battery comes out for charging indoors, and Mark2 quote up to 60 miles of assistance depending on which assist mode you use.
