About the Mark2 Scrambler CX Premium Trekking
Mark2 took the Scrambler and reworked it as a trekking bike: the same tough aluminium frame and 90Nm centre-mounted Promovec motor, geared and equipped for distance and luggage rather than for trails. It is the heaviest bike in their range, which is what you get for a frame built to carry a loaded pair of panniers all day.
The 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain runs an 11-32T cassette, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with a 180mm front rotor are more than enough for a loaded bike on a wet descent. The battery comes out for indoor charging, and the 460Wh long range pack is an option worth taking if you ride long.
