About the Mark2 Scrambler C Hardtail
The Scrambler C adds the one upgrade that changes an e-bike most: a centre-mounted Promovec crank motor delivering 90Nm. Because the drive is at the bottom bracket rather than in the rear wheel, the weight sits low and central, the bike balances like an ordinary mountain bike and the torque arrives through the gears instead of shoving the back end sideways.
Around that sits a lighter 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain in place of the 27-speed setup, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with a 180mm front rotor, and the same two frame sizes. Ready to ride at 22.9kg with the battery fitted, and quoted at up to 60 miles of assistance.
