About the Mark2 Scrambler Hardtail
The Scrambler is the bike Mark2 have been building since 2017, and the plain hardtail is the value end of that range: an aluminium frame in two sizes, a 27-speed Shimano drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes with a 180mm front rotor to slow a heavier bike on a loose descent.
It runs a 54Nm rear hub motor with walk assist and a boost throttle, so the assistance is there when you want it and out of the way when you do not - Mark2 point out that it rides perfectly well with the battery removed. Choose the 375Wh pack or the 460Wh long range option; either comes out for indoor charging.
