About the EMU Roam Step Through
The step-through Roam is the same bike as the crossbar with the frame opened up, which lowers the standover dramatically and makes it the easier choice if you ride in a long coat, carry a rack bag or simply prefer not to swing a leg over a crossbar in traffic.
It comes in four colours and one 18in frame size, with the same front hub motor, five assist levels and LCD display, and the same 700c wheels and puncture-resistant tyres. Battery choice is the only real decision: 10.4Ah for a quoted 27 to 45 miles at £1,249.99, or the 14.5Ah pack for 35 to 55 miles at £1,449.99. Both are frame-integrated and charge indoors.
