About the EMU Roam Crossbar
The Roam is EMU at their simplest: an aluminium frame on 700c wheels with puncture-resistant 700x38C tyres, a front hub motor with five levels of assistance and an LCD display on the bars. It is designed for the rider who wants a dependable e-bike for the commute, the shops and a weekend lane, not a technical one.
The 10.4Ah battery sits inside the frame and EMU quote 27 to 45 miles from it depending on assist level; step up to the 14.5Ah pack at £1,449.99 and that becomes 35 to 55 miles. A 7-speed Shimano derailleur, Tektro V-brakes, mudguards, a kickstand and a rear rack rated to 25kg complete a 22.5kg bike.
