About the EMU Evo Crossbar
The Evo is the bike to look at if you had decided e-bikes were heavy. At 18.5kg it weighs about what a mid-range non-electric hybrid does, and EMU have kept the frame and the 700c wheels clean enough that it does not advertise itself - the Samsung battery is integrated into the frame rather than bolted to a rack.
A 250W rear hub motor gives five levels of assistance through a colour LCD display, and EMU quote 20 to 50 miles depending on how much of it you use. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, a 7-speed Shimano derailleur, puncture-resistant 700x38C tyres and lights wired into the main battery make it a bike for daily use, not just Sundays.
