About the EMU Classic Step Through
The step-through Classic is the bike to point a new rider at. The 18in frame opens up the standover, the Enviolo hub gears shift while you are stopped and need almost no upkeep, and the lights run off the main battery so there is nothing to remember to charge separately.
It shares everything mechanical with the crossbar Classic: a Shengyi front hub motor with five levels of assistance and a colour display, a frame-integrated Samsung battery, Tektro V-brakes with a bell built into the lever, and 700c puncture-resistant tyres. Choose 10.4Ah for a quoted 30 to 50 miles or 14.5Ah for 40 to 60; at 24kg it is the heaviest of EMU's city bikes.
