Your rights are with us
Under the Consumer Rights Act everything we sell has to be of satisfactory
quality, fit for its purpose and match its description. If it does not, the
claim is ours to put right - repair, replacement or refund - not something you
have to negotiate with the brand.
📆
14 days to change your mind
Because you cannot come in and try the item first, every order carries the
distance-selling right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. There is no
showroom-visit exemption here, so there are no exceptions, and we refund the
standard delivery you paid.
🏷
Warranty on top of that
Each brand publishes its own cover for the frame, motor and battery. That
cover is a bonus, not a replacement for your statutory rights - which is why we
list the brand figures separately below, with the dates and conditions they are
subject to.
🔧
Servicing, sorted honestly
Routine servicing is done by a local bike shop or a mobile mechanic, and we
will help you pick the right job. Ring us first: we will tell you what the
bike needs and whether it is a warranty matter, so you are not paying for
something we should be covering.
🔌
Look after the battery
A neglected battery is the most common reason for a rejected warranty claim.
Charge it before storage, keep it between roughly 40% and 60% if the bike is
idle, do not leave it flat for months, and keep it out of frost and out of the
sun.
♻
Battery disposal
Lithium packs must never go in household waste. Take a dead battery to your
local household waste recycling centre, or back to a shop that sells batteries
of the same type - retailers have to take them back, so a nearby bike shop or
DIY store can accept it.
